Printing

The heart of the operations at Excel Press revolves around offset printing. Millions of sheets of paper are fed through the different presses each year; one color, two color and full color process, 200 to 200,000 impressions. The art of printing is much more than simply putting ink on paper, reproducing words and images. It is a skillfully tuned balance between the unique characteristics of the materials and the desired end product. All papers are different, and different inks respond differently to the environments they are exposed to.
